Labuan Bajo is an established tourist destination located at Flores Island, Indonesia. The city is main port to Komodo National Park which is included as the main wonders of the worlds. The park includes the three larger islands: Komodo, Padar, and Rinca. The national park was founded to protect the Komodo Dragon the world largest lizard, and other protected species, including marine species. The park was declared as Unesco World Heritage Site in 1991. The statistic recorded that in 2018, there were 80.683 tourist visited the destination. Despite rapid growth of the city, considering that there is no Seventh-day Adventist church in the area, the need of church planting is considered as urgent call at the moment.
